Marden village is situated about a mile east of the main A49 Hereford-Leominster road some six miles north of Hereford. The current local facilities within the parish include a village shop which also has a cafe and part-time Post Office; a hairdresser; a nail bar; and a Minimarket. There are two Public houses which are sadly currently closed. Hopefully, these will reopen soon.
